WESTERLY, R.I.:  (March 28, 2022) – The Knickerbocker All-Stars are thrilled and honored to announce the band will be sharing the stage with legendary Blues singer Dana Fuchs.

Fuchs is one of the most coveted blues-rock stars in the world today and has been compared to Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, and Mick Jagger. On April 8, 2022, she will bring her rough-edged blues to The Knickerbocker Music Center – a stage that has been graced by the likes of The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, and Jon Batiste. Fuchs will perform with the Blues Music Award-nominated Knickerbocker All-Stars.

“After performing a few traditional soul songs at the Westerly Summer Pops with the Chorus of Westerly and the Boston Festival Orchestra, we thought a new approach to blues and R&B would be refreshing,” said JP Sheerar, producer of the Knickerbocker All-Stars. “Recently, Dana Fuchs played at The Kate in Old Saybrook and rocked the house. She’s the perfect complement to The Knick All-Stars style and really captivates the audience. The performance will feature Fuchs and Brian Templeton, two of the most dynamic and entertaining vocalists in the business.”

Both Fuchs and The All-Stars are critically acclaimed musicians. Fuchs latest album, “Borrowed Time” is currently on pre-order. The Knickerbocker All-Stars 2019 release “Love Makes a Woman” was nominated for the 2019 Blues Music Award for Souls Blues Album of the Year.

Their joint performance is set for April 8, 2022, at The Knickerbocker Music Center, located at 35 Railroad Avenue in downtown Westerly. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are currently on sale for $25 and can be purchased online.
