Free, family-friendly event at Young’s Greenhouse 4th Annual Spring Celebration!
SOUTH PARIS, MAINE: (March 25, 2025) – A cherished community tradition, the 4th Annual Spring Celebration & Easter Egg Hunt at Young’s Greenhouse, is set to help families hop into spring with blossoms filling the greenhouses and thousands of hidden eggs that promise much excitement.
Held in partnership with Moss Brook Church, the 4th Annual Spring Celebration & Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Young’s Greenhouse – 643 High Street in South Paris, Maine.. Coinciding with the drop of the spring and summer annual planting season, the spring celebration will feature the much anticipated Easter Egg Hunt complete with golden eggs – find the right ones and you will win a special prize!. The free event will feature a morning filled with fun, carnival like activities along with the Easter Egg Hunt, including:
- Games
- Face Painting
- Popcorn
- Cotton Candy
- Crafts
All of the events will take place inside Young’s warm and cozy greenhouses.
In addition to the activities and Easter Egg Hunt, participants can choose to create a full size or mini dish in a Pop Up Workshop of Resurrection Succulent Dishes – no registration is necessary, just show up and have fun learning from the pros – cost is $35 for full size dish or $19 for a mini dish.
For plant lovers, the greenhouses will be open with a supply of Easter Lilies, tropical plants, house plants, spring plants and succulents ready for sale. Foodies will be able to stock up on Young Girls Farm fresh beef and on Young Girls Farm’s line of pantry products, including jams, jellies, gourmet popcorn, salad dressings, dry rubs, local Maine honey and maple syrup, and fudge.
The spring celebration is just the start of an exciting 2025 season planned at Young’s Greenhouse. Popular events like the Georgia Peach Truck visit, A Day on the Farm AgriTourism experience and the Christmas Spectacular will continue in 2025 – dates and details are on the Young’s Greenhouse website events page. A new event this year is a Harvest Event, on October 11th. The Harvest Event will feature pumpkin carving & live music, plus foods such as chili, firestone pizza, apple crisp, dough boys and cider.
These great events are in additional to the traditional workshops throughout the year – including Fairy Garden and Dragon Lair workshops for both adults and children, Succulent Garden, Herb Garden with all new recipes in 2025, Fall Succulent and Christmas Workshops, as well as bus tours and private workshop parties. Young’s Greenhouse is excited to announce three new workshops in 2025 to include: Tea Party Workshop, Amaryllis Dish Workshop and the Pop Up Resurrection Dishes.

- Saturday, May 10th
- Time: 10a.m. to 12 p.m.
- All are invited to join Young’s Greenhouse and celebrate mom with a free photo shoot in front of beautiful backgrounds created in the greenhouses. Moms will also get a free long-stemmed rose, while supplies last.
- May 22 – May 26, 2025
- Time: Daily 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- There will be several sales and specials throughout the weekend. On Monday, May 26th, Veterans will receive 10% off everything* (*some exclusions apply – see store for details).
In addition, seniors 65+ will save 10% on select Tuesdays from April 29 – June 11, 2025.
