Young’s Greenhouse Invites Community to Get Into the Holiday Spirit with Inaugural Christmas Spectacular

Free, family-friendly event to feature afternoon of festive activities

SOUTH PARIS, MAINE:  (November 12, 2024) –  Dedicated to helping cultivate a tight-knit community, Young’s Greenhouse is now building on the success of its annual Spring Celebration by hosting its first-ever Christmas Spectacular.

Held in partnership with Moss Brook Church, the event will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Young’s Greenhouse in South Paris, Maine. The free event will feature an afternoon of festive, family-friendly activities, including:

  • Gingerbread House Contest
  • Photos with Santa
  • Christmas Lights Display
  • Live Christmas Carolers & Hot Cocoa
  • Gingerbread House & Cookie Decorating for Kids
  • Pop-Up Mini Christmas Workshops (small fee applies)

Except for caroling–which will take place outdoors if the weather allows–all of the events will take place inside Young’s warm and cozy greenhouses.

In addition to the festivities, participants can take their family Christmas card photo by one of the charming Christmas light displays; pick out their Christmas tree and buy some fresh balsam decorations; and for the foodie in their life, stock up on Young Girls Farm’s new line of pantry products, including jams, jellies, gourmet pretzels, salad dressings, dry rubs, local Maine honey and maple syrup, and fudge.

Those who can’t make the Christmas Spectacular can still enjoy the holiday spirit at Young’s Greenhouse throughout November and December.
